Orders & collaboration 5
Do you work across Poland?
How do I request a quote?
Email mail@sopthedrone.com — include location, date, format (photos / video / inspection), intended use and deadline. We usually reply within 1–2 business days.
How much does a drone shoot cost?
Pricing depends on location, time on site, format (photo, 8K, D-Log, FPV, live) and licensing. Simple sessions start from a few hundred PLN; multi-day productions are quoted individually. Every quote lists what is included.
How long does delivery take?
Simple photo or short video: often 1–3 business days from the flight. Larger productions, narrated edits and FPV are scheduled in advance. For events, contact us at least 2–4 weeks ahead.
Do you cover weekends and live events?
Yes — concerts, mass events and live broadcasts are a core part of our work. For large crowds we verify airspace in PANSA DroneTower, NOTAMs and organiser requirements in advance. Temporary no-fly zones may apply near major events.
Regulations, qualifications & safety 6
Are commercial flights treated differently under EU rules?
Since 2021 operations are classified by risk category (open, specific, certified), not “commercial vs recreational” — under EU Regulation 2019/947 and ULC rules. Paid work can be flown in the open category (A1/A3) or specific category (STS-01, STS-02). See EASA drones.
What qualifications do your pilots hold?
Pilots hold A1/A3 in KSID (drony.gov.pl), plus A2 and STS-01/STS-02 when required. We are registered UAS operators with ULC. Every mission is checked against our credentials and equipment.
Do you carry third-party liability insurance?
Yes — mandatory third-party liability (OC) insurance for commercial UAS operations, covering damage to third parties during lawful flights.
How do you check airspace and NOTAMs?
We use official tools: the ULC geozone map, PANSA DroneTower and AIS NOTAM. We check geographic zones, CTRs, time restrictions and NOTAMs. Submissions in controlled airspace are arranged before the shoot day.
Do you need the property owner’s consent?
Airspace is not part of private land — overflight can be lawful under ULC/EASA aviation rules. For close-range filming on private property, consent for take-off, landing and recording is best practice. We advise when needed.
Can you fly over crowds or city centres?
Under open-category rules: 120 m height limit, no flight directly over uninvolved assemblies of people. City centres often have CTRs — we verify them in DroneTower and on the ULC map before quoting.
Deliverables, gear & formats 4
What quality and formats do you deliver?
High-resolution photos (JPG; RAW/TIFF on request). 8K UHD video (H.264/H.265 or ProRes). Aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16) and shot count are agreed in the brief before the flight.
Do you provide editing?
Yes — finished edits to script or raw footage for in-house editing. Colour grading, licensed music and social cuts (Reels, Shorts) are quoted separately.
Do you offer classic and FPV drones?
Yes — cinematic gimbal platforms and FPV rigs for dynamic interiors, sports events and premium property shots. We match the aircraft to the brief.
Can you live-stream from the drone?
Yes — Full HD live transmission with professional broadcast gear. Requires advance airspace checks and a technical plan — please enquire early.
Inspections & specialist operations 3
Do you perform technical inspections?
Yes — roofs, façades, chimneys, power lines, bridges and industrial assets from a safe distance. We deliver photos, video or annotated reports; scope is agreed upfront.
Do you shoot 360° spherical panoramas?
Yes — spherical photos and video for virtual tours, Google Street View and developer websites. Output format is defined in the brief.
Do you fly at night?
Night operations require the specific category with a risk assessment and extra measures (lighting, observers, approvals per ULC). We only quote these after a feasibility review.
Shop & photo licensing 3
Can I buy a photo from the shop?
Yes — add frames to the cart and send the enquiry by email. After quote acceptance and payment you receive a download link. Frame not listed? Contact us — we will help locate it in the gallery.
What licence types do you offer?
Web/social (online publishing), advertising/print (POS, billboards, paid campaigns) and exclusivity within an agreed territory and period. Scope and price are stated in the quote.
Can I use commissioned material commercially?
Yes — commissioned work includes a licence for the agreed fields of use (web, advertising, social, TV). Full copyright transfer is possible by separate agreement.
